Cheshire East Council is the local Planning Authority and they have full powers when considering planning applications. 

Sutton Parish Council is consulted on all applications falling within the parish boundary. Planning applications are considered as part of the normal parish council meetings which are usually held once a month. The council reviews all sites and scrutinises the plans for every application. Its comments are then passed to Cheshire East council for their deliberations. Members of the public are entitled to attend parish council meetings to discuss planning applications and the Chairman will normally allow them to speak. 
 
This page should contain all undecided planning applications and is updated on a monthly basis. But to be 100% sure you can check all planning application at Cheshire East Planning. The public should send comments to both the Parish Council via The Parish Council Clerk and Cheshire East Council within any deadline period. You can voice your concerns to them on any planning matter. The National Planning Portal is a great website for advice and guidance and your one-stop shop for planning and building services online.
