Changes Proposed to Lyme Green and Rural Wards Boundaries
You may be aware that Cheshire East Council has been conducting a review of town and parish council governance arrangements across the Cheshire East Borough.
The recommended proposals will impact our parish in the following ways:
• The Lyme Green Ward will move within the Macclesfield Town boundary;
• The Sutton Rural Ward will become a new Parish Council and be expanded to include Wincle and Macclesfield Forest & Wildboarclough;
• Sutton Parish will become much smaller and consist of the Sutton Lane End and the Langley Wards.
It is important that you respond to Cheshire East Council to let them know your views.
For more information on the draft proposal which has been developed by Cheshire East Council please take a look at the link below and take a look at the Community Governance Review -Formal Draft Proposal document.
The Parish Council wants to gather the views of the local community that we can use when it comes to developing this matter forward.
Please fill in the form below so we can begin to collate opinions, thoughts and views which we will need to present to East Cheshire Council. However, it is important that you also respond to Cheshire East Council.
Let the Parish Council know your View
