Sutton Parish Council Chairman, Andrew Waller, attended the 2018 Community Pride Competition in Frodsham. The competition was organised by Cheshire Community Action (CCA) with Civic Leaders, Parish Councillors, Competition Judges and enthusiasts travelling from all parts of the County.
We are delighted to announce that Sutton Parish won the “Best Kept Village Competition” for our category. Many thanks to all those unseen heroes who contributed to this award. We were also presented with a “Little Gem” award for “Sutton Cemetery” from Kathy Benn, Chairman of the CCA. Congratulations to the PCC, in particular Graham Smith, and to all those residents who helped in keeping Church yard immaculate.
Cllr Waller was also joined by Lesley Reynolds and Margaret Earl representing the Three Villages Community Action Group (CIC). Cllr Waller said “…The Parish Council would particularly like to thank the Three Villages Community Action Group for all their hard work in making this possible. They have put so much into this project and are a credit to the Parish…” Congratulations to everyone Involved in our winning entry this year.
