The competition is for children up to the age of 11.
Seeds, with full instructions for planting and growing, were distributed in Hollinhey Primary School and nursery earlier in the year with entry forms distributed in September.
Information on the competition and criteria:
For children up to the age of 11
Child has to have a Lyme Green, Langley, Sutton or Higher Sutton address or reside at the address where the sunflower is grown.
Child can enter if they attend Hollinhey Primary School or St James Pre-School.
You will be asked to return your entry form after the summer holidays in September to record the height of your sunflower(s).
The judges will then measure the six tallest sunflowers and prizes of book tokens will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
We hope to have a magnificent display of sunflowers in the Parish this Summer!
