Sutton Parish Council are pleased to announce the launch of 2021 Tallest Sunflower Competition. The competition is for children up to the age of 11. 
 
The entries have currently been received and we are extremely excited about the number of entries for this year's competitiion. The seeds will be delivered after the May Half Term.  
 
For information on the competition criteria please see below: 
 
Children up to the age of 11 
 
Child has to have a Lyme Green, Langley, Sutton and Higher Sutton address which is where the sunflower is grown. This is if they do not attend Hollinhey Primary School or Sutton St James Pre-school. 
 
Child can enter if they attend Hollinhey Primary School or St James Pre-School. 
 
The sunflower seeds, with full instructions for planting and growing, will be distributed after the May Half Term. 
 
You will be asked to return another form after the summer holidays in September to record the height of your sunflower(s). The judges will then measure the six tallest sunflowers and prizes of book tokens will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. 
We hope to have a magnificent display of sunflowers in the Parish this Summer.
