Annual Audit 2021/22 and Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) 
The year-end Annual Governance Statement and Accounting Statement for 2021/22 will be signed off at our May meeting. The internal audit report will be available on the Council website once received. 
 
Each year the Councils Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) is reviewed by an external auditor. Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounting records for the financial year to which the audit relates. For the year ended 31 March 2022 these documents are available at reasonable notice by application to the Parish Clerk between 1st July 2022 to 11th August 2022. Residents also have the opportunity to question the appointed auditor about the records. The review of the Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) for Sutton Parish Council (Cheshire) for the year ended 31 March 2021 is to be completed by our External Auditor.  
Notice of completion including the external auditors report (Section 3) and Sections 1 and 2 will be included with our Financial Documents on this website once completed.
